Overview: Total reflectors are an important element in laser transmission systems, as they cooperate with laser focus lenses to form a complete optical path in the CO2 laser device. The reflective mirror saves space, helps reduce light loss, and reserves laser power. It is a great optical accessory for laser equipment such as laser cutting machines, laser engraving machines and laser marking machines.

Mo Total Reflector Total reflectors generally use Mo and Si as substrates. The Mo total reflector is typically uncoated and can withstand high laser power to meet the demanding requirements for working environments. It can be scrubbed, and has a long service life, but a low reflectivity.

Si Total Reflector The Si total reflector has great thermo-optical properties, and is currently the most commonly used reflection lens for laser equipment. This new optical mirror uses single crystal Si as a substrate, and is coated with a dielectric material. Due to that, it effectively reflects the CO2 laser in a high reflective rate. Si total reflectors can be scrubbed and feature a light weight and excellent resistance to oxidation.
